Explore QJMotor at RBS Yamaha in Pinetown: South African prices, recent reviews and a guide to sports bikes, adventure tourers and the V4 cruiser.
Four-cylinder sports bikes, adventure tourers and a V4 cruiser: the QJMotor range gives South African riders plenty to get excited about. Recent local reviews have put the brand’s equipment, riding experience and pricing under the spotlight. For anyone planning a new bike purchase, it is a range worth putting on the shortlist.
At RBS Yamaha in Pinetown, our QJMotor listings start at R104 995 for the SRK 450 RR. The choice extends through the SRK sports range, the SU 9, the SRT adventure models and the SRV 600V cruiser. Here is how to narrow it down around the riding you actually enjoy.
QJMotor is part of Zhejiang Qianjiang, a motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1985 whose brands also include Benelli. That background helps explain the breadth of the range. Read the South African importer’s company overview.
The most useful question for a buyer is what the complete package delivers. Engine character, riding position, standard equipment and the purchase price all matter. Recent South African road tests offer a helpful starting point, especially when you compare their findings with your own priorities.
Advertised RBS website prices checked on 18 September 2026. These are the main model listings; used and demo bikes are separate. Please confirm current stock, colours, included equipment and any on-the-road charges with our team.

The SRK 450 RR is the starting point on price. Despite the model name, its listed engine capacity is 421cc, with four cylinders and a high-revving character. It deserves a look if that smaller-capacity sports-bike experience appeals to you. Official model details.
The SRK 600 RC and SRK 800 RR broaden the choice, with the latter using a 778cc four-cylinder engine. Compare the seating position and how the bike fits you as carefully as the engine size. A bike for regular commuting may need to meet different priorities from one bought mainly for weekend rides. SRK 800 RR manufacturer information.
At the larger end, the SRK 921 RR combines a 921cc four-cylinder engine with equipment including a bidirectional quickshifter, cruise control, Brembo Stylema brakes and adjustable Marzocchi suspension, according to the South African importer. It is a compelling option for riders comparing performance and specification at R179 995. Official SRK 921 RR specification.
The SU 9, also known as the Super 9, pairs its 921cc four-cylinder engine with a distinctive round-headlight design. In his 31 August 2026 ZA Bikers review, Dave Cilliers highlighted its styling, planted handling and strong engine. He also made the riding position clear: this is a focused sports bike, with town comfort and passenger space secondary to that purpose.
That makes the SU 9 a particularly interesting choice if your next motorcycle is as much about the pleasure of owning and riding something distinctive as getting from one place to another.
For riders picturing Midlands weekends, coastal trips or longer holidays with a pillion, the SRT models are a natural place to start.
The SRT 700 SX offers a 698cc twin-cylinder touring package at R129 995. In Dave Cilliers’ review, republished by QJMotor South Africa on 20 May 2026, the test bike’s heated grips and seat, luggage and comfortable touring manners were major attractions. It is worth comparing if you want one bike for weekday use and weekends away.
The SRT 900 SX steps up to a 904cc twin and a 24-litre tank. ZA Bikers’ 19 August 2026 road test praised its comfortable seat, strong mid-range response and generous touring equipment. The reviewer found it capable on dirt roads at sensible speeds, while positioning it primarily as an all-road travel bike. That distinction is useful when deciding how much of your riding will be touring and how much will involve demanding off-road terrain.
Our listings also include the SRT 500 RX at R119 995. If a smaller-capacity adventure option interests you, ask our team to compare its dimensions and specification with the 700 and 900 before deciding.
The SRV 600 V stands out with a 561cc V4 engine, belt drive and a low 720mm seat. At R119 995, it gives riders who enjoy cruiser styling a distinctive option to consider.
In Bill Hunter’s review, republished by QJMotor South Africa on 19 June 2026, the engine’s smoothness and lively response were highlights. He also noted that the feet-forward riding position will not suit everyone. Spend time checking the reach to the bars and footrests: comfort is personal, and the right fit matters as much as the look.
The SFA 1000P extends the QJMotor selection into ATVs at R169 995. If your plans involve an ATV rather than a road motorcycle, tell us about the terrain and tasks you have in mind so we can help you assess the right option.
